Arte De Riego

About Filip
With 29 years of experience in irrigation, horticulture, and landscape architecture, Filip Koziel brings to each project a rare combination of technical mastery and design intelligence.
He completed five years of university studies in both landscape architecture and horticulture, building a solid academic foundation that supports his extensive practical experience.
At the beginning of his career, he participated in the research and development of one of the first irrigation systems for vertical gardens in Poland. In 2005, he became one of the pioneers in the design and implementation of irrigation solutions for vertical gardens, at a time when this technology was still in its early stages.
But what truly defines his work is a different approach to irrigation.
He does not design systems the way a plumber or installer would. Each irrigation solution is created based on the real needs of the plants: understanding the soil, the climate, root behavior, and water dynamics.
This means:
• healthier plants
• more efficient use of water
• systems that truly work in the long term
Each project is carefully designed to deliver the right amount of water, in the right place, at the precise moment, remaining invisible within the design.
Arte de Riego is where irrigation stops being technical… and becomes part of landscape architecture itself.
Whether you envision a tranquil garden retreat, a refined outdoor living space, or a seamless connection between architecture and landscape, Filip Koziel approaches each project with a deep understanding of both design and nature.
With 29 years of experience in irrigation, horticulture, and landscape architecture, and five years of formal university training, his work is grounded in both technical knowledge and real-world execution.
As the founder of Groove Garden Design, Filip has developed a reputation for creating outdoor spaces that are not only visually striking, but also functional, timeless, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
At the beginning of his career, he participated in the research and development of one of the first irrigation systems for vertical gardens in Poland. In 2005, he became one of the pioneers in vertical garden irrigation, long before it became a trend.
This philosophy continues through Arte de Riego.
Rather than treating irrigation as a secondary technical aspect, Filip designs systems based on the real needs of plants, understanding soil conditions, climate, and water behavior. The result is healthier landscapes, greater efficiency, and systems that operate in harmony with the design.
From the initial concept to the final installation, each project is approached with precision, care, and a commitment to creating spaces that feel natural, balanced, and built to last.
